Woe is me, it's 7 AM and our coffeemaker isn't turning on. As fortune would have it, though, Golf bought a tea maker in Chinatown the other day. The kind that looks like a coffeepot with a filter down the center. So that's how I'm making our coffee -- I've never done it like that before, but it's turning out alright. That means today we are getting out butts down to Best Buy to get ourselves a new one!

Yeah, I'm always afraid appliances will burn down my house, so when one breaks, it's off for a new one :)
sorry to hear about the coffemaker. it's such a pain when the things we rely on die on us.
our dishwasher died this weekend and i feel like i'm up a creek w/o a paddle. i think we'll have to wait for our tax refund to get a new one. :( *sob*
Yes, it's too bad that manufacturers don't make appliances like they used to -- made to last 20 years! Well, they want to make $$$ and that's how they do it, semi-disposable goods, unfortunately.
